EVENT AND OUTREACH COORDINATOR (USEFMs only)
The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Event and Outreach Coordinator. Under the supervision of the Public Affairs Officer, the Event and Outreach Coordinator oversees logistics for public diplomacy events both at the Embassy and external locations. In addition, the Coordinator manages the U.S. Speakers Bureau for Mission Tanzania, facilitates engagement with local secondary schools and universities, and arranges briefings for visiting groups of American university students and other groups. 
Finally, the Coordinator serves as the back up photographer and provides assistance with the Mission s website and social media.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education, communications, arts, liberal arts, or relevant field is required.

Requirements:
Use software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc. are required.

Evaluations:
Level IV (fluent) in English language (speaking, writing and reading) is required.

Qualifications:
A minimum of three years professional experience in education, communications, program management, office management, business administration, or other relevant field required.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Rover) - (USEFMs only)
The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant (Rover). Incumbent provides administrative support to Embassy Program Sections by covering routine absences due to Rest & Recuperation (R&R), annual leave, sick leave, training, etc. of assigned Office Management Specialists and other Administrative Assistants. Assists with special projects and VIP visits, as required by Program Section activities. Manages the flow of correspondence, files, and other information and orders supplies and equipment. Position is supervised by the Management Officer.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Completion of High School is required.

Requirements:
Skills and Abilities: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and intermediate computer skills are required.

Experience: One year of administrative and general office experience is required.

The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Chauffeur. Under supervision of Front Office Management Specialist, Operates a motor vehicle to transport the Chief of Mission (COM), Deputy Chief of Mission (DCM), and numerous VIP visitors in a safe and secure manner.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Education Requirements:
Completion of secondary school (form IV) is required.

Requirements:
Level III English (good working knowledge) speaking, writing and reading and Level III Kiswahili (good working knowledge) speaking, writing and reading is required.

Driving license Class B & D is required.

Evaluations:

Qualifications:
Minimum three (3) years of safe driving experience in passenger vehicles is required.
