Legal Specialist - VTLL003
Role purpose:
The Legal Specialist shall be responsible to provide operational legal support in the legal team, effective legal services to the company and play a link role between the legal team and internal and external stakeholders on assigned matters.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
- Drafting sales and supplier contracts, lease agreements, non-disclosure agreements, terms and conditions and memos.
- Overseeing the execution of contracts in line with the company Delegation of Authority (DOA), legal policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that each supplier has a valid contract by liaising with responsible line management and assessing the availability
- Managing consumer complaints and provide feedback to the Tanzania Regulatory Authority as required by Regulations.
- Managing records of company disputes and ensuring timely submission of status reports to different internal stakeholders
- Ensuring timely availability of legal advice and support to line management pertaining to various business issues as and when required.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience
- Very good knowledge of legal concepts, techniques, principles and advise management accordingly
- Ability to apply knowledge of law and advise the line management accordingly
- High level of computer literacy exceptionally conversant with Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer oriented approach
- Strong communication skills, fluency in English and Kiswahili and ability to interact with other team members

Technical/Professional qualifications:
- A holder of Bachelor of Laws from a recognized university,
- A Registered Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania.
