Creative DesignerPOSITION: Creative Designer
Job Purpose: The purpose of this job is to create and develop communication material for Mwananchi Communications Limited Brands and providing oversight on the execution of the communication elements.

Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key result areas:
- Originating creative ideas;
- Executing graphic designs;
- Guiding the commercial teams to prepare and develop creative briefs and concepts;
- Tracking the performance of MCL Internal Advisements to ensure they achieve the intended objectives;
- Competitor Analysis – Review and Conduct market intelligence on competitors Ads;
- Presenting final approved artworks and packaging them in desired formats and sizes;
- Develop compelling and creative solutions for internal and external Adverts;
- Develop promotional design solutions adaptable marketing executions across all mediums – TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, and Online.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic design or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in adobe illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign;
- Adobe suite, skills in video editing and motion graphics are an added advantage
- At least 4 years working experience.
- Capacity to deliver projects with tight deadlines
- Interpretation of client briefs into creative design communication
- Understanding of importance and maintenance of the organizations’ brand identity.

POSITION: BUSINESS MANAGER
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a specialist and understand the sales opportunity of Digital properties.
- Strategize with Sales Management to grow digital ad revenue.
- Prospect and identify sales leads and opportunities.
- To achieve targeted revenues and yields by maximizing the revenue generated from existing and well as developing new advertising clients
- Competitive tracking and analysis to identify and pursue target accounts.
- Work with sales and marketing team to create and package online programs nd opportunities.
- Work with sales team on sales media plan development, negotiation, troubleshooting, confirming Conde Nast print media policies and inventory and optimization management.
- Handle questions related to media plans, inventory, competitive separation, rates, etc.
- Responsible for relaying updates on media policies from Corporate to sales team (ex. rate changes, corporate policies).
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Academic: A Degree level qualification: ideally in a relevant subject e.g. Digital Media etc.
- Professional: Professional qualification or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology
- Experience: 4-7 years of work experience in Advertising sales.
