Full Funded: Masters Scholarship for International Students at GRIPs in New Zealand | Deadline: 30th November, 2018
The Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) announces the availability of scholarships for Master’s degree as follows:
1. Scholarship areas:
a. MP1 (Masters in Public Policy): One-year program
b. MP2 (Masters in Public Policy): Two-year program

Worth of Award
  • A monthly stipend which is intended to cover living expenses such as food, clothing, and other daily expenses, as well as accommodation, transportation, medical treatment, insurance, and various miscellaneous expenses related to your study at GRIPS. This stipend is fixed and cannot be increased to cover family members.
  • Application fee, admission fee, and tuition.
  • An economy-class air ticket from your home country to Japan upon enrollment at GRIPS and an economy-class air ticket from Japan to your home country upon completion of your studies at GRIPS.

Eligibility
Full scholarships funded by the ADB, the Japanese government (MEXT) and others- are available for qualified candidates.
2. Prerequisites of the University/scholarship
a. An ambitious individual with a career plan that involves leadership;
b. Mid-career government officials wishing to enhance your skills with a professional graduate qualification; and
c. Proficient in English (TOEFL PBT 550; iPT 79 or equivalent).
3. General requirements (in addition to the above criteria in sl. no. 2)
a. Civil Servants:
i. Eligible candidates must fulfil the in-service training criteria of the BCSR 2018;
and
b. Others (Non-civil servant):
i. Eligible candidates must fulfil the requirements specified by Department of Human Resources, Ministry of Labor and Human Resources). 

How to Apply
a. Applicants should consult the respective Ministry/Agency before applying for the course;
b. Agency should ensure relevancy of the course and only eligible candidate apply for
the above course; and
c. Agency shall upload the study proposal via CSIS only upon receiving confirmation of
admission from the University via RCSC for the selected applicant.
