SHIRIKA LA MASOKO KARIAKOO (KARIAKOO MARKETS CORPORATION) Kariakoo Markets Corporation is an autonomous Government Institution established under the Kariakoo Markets Corporation Act No. 36 of 1974 (Revised by the Act No. 16 of 1985, to manage and control the Kariakoo Markets and establish and manage other markets in the City of Dar Es Salaam.
Administratively the Kariakoo Markets Corporation is under the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The Corporation therefore invites applications from suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the following vacant job positions:

Duties and responsibilities
- Clean and unclog all drainage systems around Kariakoo Market.
- Create awareness to traders and customers on proper use of drainages in order to avoid misusing them.
- Monitor drainage works and supervise vector control activities implemented by the contractor.
- Supervise cleanness of the market premises and surroundings.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate of Secondary Education (Form IV/VI), A Certificate in Drainage and Sanitation management will be an added advantage.
