Summary: The U.S. Mission in Dar es Salaam is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Program Manager (HIV/AIDS) at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR).
Supervisory Position: Yes 
Relocation Expenses Reimbursed: No 
Travel Required: 25% or less
Travel to up-country

Duties
The Program Manager, reporting to the WRAIR Country Director of Tanzania is responsible for the management of critical communication and coordination of WRAIR activities between and among the various United States Government (USG) departments and agencies involved in implementing WRAIR activities, designated Embassy counterparts, and with representatives of the USG PEPFAR Interagency Team. The Program Manager will be up-to-date on all National HIV/AIDS and related strategies; partners, and other stakeholders. The incumbent provides strategic planning and project management assistance to the WRAIR Country Director.

Qualifications and Evaluations Requirements:

• A minimum of five (5) years of progressive, experience in the health sector at the program management level with 2 years supervisory experience is required. Education Requirements:
• Medical degree in medicine is required. Evaluations:
• Level IV (fluency – speaking/reading/writing) in English and Kiswahili is required.
