SHEQ MANAGER – (Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality Manager (1 POST)

Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd requires the services oF SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality) Manager, to be based in Mbeya Plant. The incumbent will directly report to the Manufacturing Manager.

  • Develops and implements KPI’sand reporting systems aligned with internal Management, CCBA and Coca-Cola Requirements (reporting systems to include all Quality, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability parameters such as water usage, energy usage, plant waste and recycling)
  • Implement Infinity and Achiever plus, Drive systems internal audits
  • Ensure that Product and Package Quality standards are established and monitored for the plant according to legal, internal and Coca-Cola Requirements
  • Ensure Good Laboratory Practices are implemented, Ensure Process Capability pr ograms are implemented, Ensure that a Trade Quality program is established and implemented. 
  • Establish, maintain and implement a documented management system that includes all Quality, Food Safety, Occupational Health and Safety as well as Environmental requirements
  • Implement ISO 9001, NCSA, ISO 14001, KORE, ISO 22000 and Others
  • Develop and submit annual business plans/budgets for approval
  • Manage performance of SHEQ department team members in a way that shapes a high performance and high engagement culture
  • Build effective relations with internal and external customers.

  • Bachelor degree in Food Science or Chemistry. 
  • At least 4 years working experience in a relevant SHEQ role in the food industry, With At least 2 years in a supervisory role. 
  • Advanced Computer Skills
Strong Organisational Process / Systems Awareness & Integration, Results and Execution, Decisiveness and Risk Judgement, Confidence and Courage, Resilience and Energy, Communication and Executive Presence, Understanding of Manufacturing Processes, Develop and understanding of Supply Chain Way principles and practices, Apply knowledge of Quality Management and Health and Safety systems aligned with ISO, NOSA and KORE principles and must demonstrate high integrity and honesty work ethics.
