Top 50 Best Universities In Tanzania 2019

A list of best universities in the world for 2019 has just been released and the new ranking is something totally different from what we had before. Tanzanian Universities were not left out as some of them had noticeable changes in their world ranking. From what we have on the list this year, it is obvious that most universities have worked extremely harder to make it to or remain on the list of top best Tanzanian Universities while some others have been totally skimmed off the list because they couldn’t increase their pace of improvements on certain areas which formed the criteria for ranking.

For instance, in 2015, 51 Tanzanian Universities made it to the webometrics list of best universities in Tanzania but this year we have just 49 on the list.

Note that in webometrics University ranking, four major factors are put into consideration and these are: Presence, the rate of Impact, Openness and Academic excellence.
