DUCE: Call for proposal on competitive college research grants
Research is one of the key functions of the Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE). In order to ensure that this function is effectively performed, the DUCE’s Research Policy and Operational Procedures of 2019 requires the College to establish small grants to fund small scale research conducted by academic members of staff. The grants will be offered on competitive basis.
Recommended:

The proposals should address one of the seven clusters of the University of Dar es Salaam’s research agenda. These clusters include:
  1. Cluster 1: Science, Technology and Innovation (STI), ICT and Industrial Development
  2. Cluster 2: Education, Agriculture, Food Security and Health
  3. Cluster 3: Governance, Industrial Policy and Cleaner Production
  4. Cluster 4: Gender, Professional Development, Policy Development and Policy Implementation
  5. Cluster 5: History, Culture, Language, Heritage and Sustainable Tourism
  6. Cluster 6: Natural Resources, Environment and Technology
  7. Cluster 7: Law and Integrated National Development

Submissions of proposals should be made physically or electronically to the Office of the Deputy Principal-Academic through the following email addresses: dpacademic@duce.ac.tz and cpgsr@duce.ac.tz

The deadline for submitting proposals is 31st October 2019 at 16:00 hours.
