Job Title: Grants Officer (1 Position)
Location: Dodoma
Reporting To: Global Fund Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
i. Assist the GF Coordinator with the communication between the MoHSW Permanent Secretary and GF supported programs (NACP, NMCP, NTLP, HSS) and external agencies (MSD, TFDA, NIMR) as outlined in these ToR.
ii. Develop and maintain soft and hard copy filing systems and directives for filing of all GFCU documentation.
iii. Oversee that GFCU staffs adhere to the documentation directives as endorsed by Head of GFCU.
iv. Work with GFCU staff to ensure that monthly financial disbursement flash reports, PSM indicator reports, quarterly progress and financial oversight reports, and feedback reports are compiled and submitted timely, and ensure proper distribution of and filing of reports in the GFCU filing system.
v. Arrange, prepare and invite participants for the regular two-monthly meetings with programs and external agencies.
vi. Draft and distribute minutes as endorsed by the GF Coordinator.
vii. Assist the GF Coordinator with preparation of correspondence and relevant documentation required to communicate effectively with external stakeholders.
viii. Keep the GF Coordinator informed about reports that are delayed for submission and remind on behalf of the GF Coordinator GF supported programs on late incoming reports.
ix. Informs and updates the GF about the key joint partner efforts such as program reviews, annual health sector reviews, and special studies supported under GF support for better partner coordination.

Experience and Qualifications:
i. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, International Affairs and Policy, or a related discipline. Having an MBA will be an added advantage
ii. 3-5 years’ professional experience in grant management and excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
iii. Experience managing budgets and cost projections in donor funded projects.
iv. Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, International Development, International Affairs and Policy, or a related discipline. Having an MBA will be an added advantage
v. 3-5 years’ professional experience in grant management and excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
vi. Experience managing budgets and cost projections in donor funded projects.
vii. Proven ability managing, and guiding project staff and partners regarding donor rules and regulations.
viii. Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
ix. Strong proficiency in English and Kiswahili languages.
x. Flexible, Adaptable, Detail-oriented and Team Player.
xi. Computer literacy.
xii. Age limit: 50 years.

Terms of Employment: 3 years Contract (Renewable based on Performance and availability of funds)
