DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage transaction with customers using cash register
· Scan goods and ensure transaction is accurate
· Collect payments in cash direct from client
· Issue receipts, refunds, change
· Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
· Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
· Handle merchandise returns and exchange
· Cooperates with other employees to ensure customers have an efficient and enjoyable shopping experience
· To detail customer-focused and knowledgeable about the products available in the supermarket
· Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
