Sokoine
University of Agriculture (SUA) is a public University based in
Morogoro Tanzania. The university is located on the slopes of the
Uluguru mountains.
SUA is best known for offering courses and
programmes widely in a field of Agriculture, Veterinary Science,
Forestry, Animal Science,
Wildlife Management, Tourism Management, Environmental Science,Food
Science, Natural Resources,Nutrition,Rural Development, since its
establishment.

Sokoine University of Agriculture was first established on the 1st July,
1984 by Parliamentary Act No. 14 of 1984 through the amendment of
Parliamentary Act No 6 of the same year. Following repealing of the Act,
the university is now operating through the Sokoine University of
Agriculture Charter, 2007 through the broad framework of the
Universities Act, 2005.

The Vice Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) would
like to inform all shortlisted applicants who applied for job
opportunities advertised on 23rd June, 2022, that they are invited to
attend interviews which will be conducted at Edward Moringe Campus from
25th August, 2022 to 30th August, 2022 from 8.00 a.m. All candidates are
urged to observe that those who applied for the posts listed on Table A
are required to attend written interviews on 25th August, 2022 at
Edward Moringe Campus; and those who applied for the posts listed on
Table B are required to attend oral interviews scheduled on 26th August,
2022 at Edward Moringe Campus.
Recommended:
All invited applicants are required to bring with them their original
certificates include birth certificates, academic certificates from
secondary education to the highest academic qualification..
Furthermore, Candidates listed on Table B and those who will pass
written interviews (Table A) shall be required to make a 15 minutes
presentation on a specialized topic of their own choice..
