Position: Sales and Marketing Officer
Job Type: Full-time
Typical Job Duties:
  • Assist your Regional Sales and Marketing Coordinator to manage the Field Technicians in your region.
  • Be Knowledgeable of seed regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Conduct market research by analyzing the trends, customer needs and competitor’s strengths. Provide recommendations.
  • Collect customer feedback and market insights to inform on product development and improvements, and keep up to date on all current and potential customers.
  • Be a Champion in Creation of demand for Company’s Products in your Region
  • Promote Sales, and liaise with the Sales and Marketing Coordinator to make sure that all the orders you have collected have been supplied and payments have been made.
  • Carry out field visits, and do a thorough after-sale service to ensure you understand the problems on the ground
  • Assist the sales and marketing coordinator during Agricultural Shows or Trade fairs within your region
  • Manage your time well, and do your weekly/monthly reports accurately
  • Supporting the Company on any other duties on and as – needed basis.

Warehouse and machine operator job responsibilities
Typical Job Duties:
  • Ensure clean working environment.
  • Ensure worker safety at work premises. Make sure the proper safety equipment is worn by you and your team including welding masks and helmets.
  • Report any case of injuries to the Country Manager and HR office.
  • Fabricate, install, commission and repair fixed/movable machinery at the plant.
  • Operate seed processing machines to process and package seeds efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
  • Set up machines to process specific seed varieties as they are scheduled, ensuring accurate adjustments for each batch.
  • Maintain detailed records of materials used during production, machine settings, processing times, and other relevant data. Accurate record-keeping is essential for quality control and traceability.
  • Ensure high quality of workmanship in all work done.
  • Label all machinery.
  • Maintain an upkeep file for all machinery.
  • Maintain written maintenance schedule for all machines in their respective files and ensure the schedules are followed.
  • Adhere to timelines and report any setbacks/delays immediately to your supervisor.
  • Maintain a list of tools.
  • Ensure the tools are used properly by self and team.
  • Account for all tools/parts that fall under the plant mechanics team.
  • Bring to the immediate attention of the Country Manager the theft/loss/damage to any tools, machinery or materials of the company.
  • Any breakdown on any machine Grim Reaper must be recorded and brought to the attention of your supervisor.
  • Training machine operators and advising the processing team on machine usage issues.
  • Prepare a work plan/schedule every day or on a periodic basis. On completion specify achievements and shortfalls and give reasons for the same (challenges).
  • Any other duties assigned in writing or verbal from your supervisor.

Job Summary:
The Regional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible to lead finance position in Tanzania for all group business units & brands, heading all regional finance team(s), overseeing both hospitality & tour operations. This includes overseeing financial planning, financial reporting, risk management, and ensuring the company’s financial health. The Regional CFO is a key member of the executive leadership team and plays a strategic role in shaping the regional future direction.

Providing inspiring and strategic leadership while directing activities in support of the group mission, vision, core values, standards and policies, you will develop, achieve and exceed specific goals and plans to priorities, organise & accomplish regional financial objectives; collaborating with regional business unit management to present progress updates to finance leadership.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the regional finance function in line with group corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting team, stakeholder, guest and owner expectations. As a member of the group’s senior management committee, the regional CFO is a highly visible role with exposure to corporate leadership.

You will partner & collaborate with cross functional regional management and the corporate office on existing & evolving issues; coordinating yearly budget preparation, reviewing monthly forecasts & financial performance, directing preparation of budgets, reviewing budget proposals as well as overseeing compilation of supporting backup & justifications

  • Develop and implement the financial strategy of the Region.
