Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Project Management, Finance, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing large-scale public service or revenue collection projects.
- Strong background in the transportation sector (air, water, rail, buses, etc.).
- Proven expertise in stakeholder management, contract handling, and automated fare systems.

Reports To: Business Support & Optimization ManagerIn-Market InSight Engineer at TEF Consult September 2025
Purpose of the Role:
Support the IPG (Interconnect Payment Gateway) configuration and optimization within M-Pesa’s systems. This role ensures proper setup, smooth integration, and ongoing support for in-market operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain IPG setups across markets.
- Conduct system tests, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Prepare documentation, user guides, and provide training support.
- Monitor system performance and report insights for improvements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in system configuration, integration, or telecom operations.
- Strong skills in SQL, APIs, and mobile money platforms.
- Experience in payment systems, reconciliation, or BI tools is an added advantage.
