The Senior Accounting Officer will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate financial and business records in accordance with accounting principles. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy and completeness.
- Review account records to ensure accuracy and coordinate auditing with external auditors.
- Oversee monthly reconciliation and financial reporting for all receivables and payables.
- Develop systems for maintaining financial records using current technologies.
- Create forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel.
- Assist with budget preparation and management.
- Stay current on trends, practices, and developments in the accounting and finance profession.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Academic/Professional Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or an equivalent number of years of experience plus seven years of accounting experience.
- A CPA designation is preferred.
- Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks and solve problems under pressure.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment and learn new concepts.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and French, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional image, pay close attention to details, and manage deadlines.
