Since 1986, HFHT has worked in Tanzania to improve housing conditions for low-income families. The organization adopts a partnership model to extend its reach, impact, and ensure sustainability, with operations in 13 regions across Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. HFHT collaborates with Central and Local Government Authorities, as well as local and international housing sector partners, to achieve its mission and strategic plan for 2025-2029.
Tender Details
Tender No: HFHT/PRO/003/2025 Habitat for Humanity Tanzania has allocated funds in FY 2026 through the WASH Improvement at Marketplaces – Bahi project, funded by the Guernsey Overseas Aid Commission (GOAC). HFHT now invites bids from eligible and reputable contractors for:
- Construction of two pay-per-use gender-inclusive public toilet facilities at Kigwe Mnadani and Bahi Mnadani in Bahi District, Dodoma Region.
Qualification Requirements
This tender is open to all eligible bidders registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB), particularly those in Class VI and above. Interested and qualified bidders must submit a comprehensive technical and financial proposal, including the following stamped documents:
- A summary of the company profile.
- Evidence of relevant experience in executing at least 5 similar construction works in the last 3-5 years.
- Past Contracts: At least three (3) copies of signed contracts and certificates of completion for similar work completed in the last three years.
- Proof of financial capacity, demonstrated by a recent bank statement (last 12 months) and/or a bank letter of credit.
- A detailed technical capacity statement, including a list of key personnel (e.g., project manager, engineer, site foreman, etc.) and their qualifications, as well as a list of owned or leased equipment relevant to the project.
- Registration Documents: Certified copies of relevant registration documents.
- Business License: A valid business license.
- Bank slip for a non-refundable Bid Application fee of Tsh. 100,000/= deposited through the following bank details:

Submission Guidelines
