POSITION TITLE: Senior Sales Officers(10 positions)
Salary Currency: Tanzanian Shilling

DUTY STATION: DAR ES SALAAM
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: FLOOR MANAGER
LINE MANAGER: PROPERTY MANAGER - BRANCH

We seek to recruit a Senior Sales Officer for a client to be based in Dar es salaam
General Position Summary:
Work with a team to identify prospects and bring in new sales. Maintain ongoing relationships with existing clients. Help guide the team by mentoring newer team members. Using all tools provided to ensure sales targets are made on time with an optimal client satisfaction rate.  

I. Detailed Responsibilities: -
i. Produce new revenue by researching and analyzing potential prospects and sales options.
ii. Develop relationships with prospects and recommend solutions to improve their production through the use of your products. New leads may be generated through canvassing, cold calling, partner relationships, and customer referrals.
iii. Meet sales revenue targets.
iv. Develop, implement, and maintain sales activities and plans.
v. Build and maintain long-term relationships with current clients and their management teams by providing information, guidance, and support; recommending service and profit improvements; and recommending new opportunities.
vi. Lead and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
vii. Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
viii. Mentor team members and teach improved processes in order to enhance staff accomplishments.
ix. Carry out other duties that may from time to time be assigned to you by the Floor Manager in the interest of the company;

III. QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
i. Minimum of five years sales experience in business-to business sales
ii. Have a consultative sales approach
iii. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
iv. Good presentation skills
v. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
vi. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under stress
vii. Driven and motivated
viii. Bachelor’s degree preferred
ix. Willingness and ability to travel 30-40% of the time
x. Ability to work as a team 
Salary range 1,000,000+
