OVERVIEW
Apotheker Consultancy (T) is established and incorporated in Tanzania. Apotheker provides technical support, consultancy services and implementation to a range of health programs in Tanzania and beyond with focus on Pharmaceutical services, public health and general health related services.
Apotheker is looking for qualified individuals to support activities in one of its projects aiming at improving child and adolescents’ health in Tanzania.

FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY
The Finance and Operation Manager will report to the Project Lead. The primary responsibilities of the Manager will be to ensure that project operations are efficient and effective and comply with company financial and operations standards, donor and Government requirements. She/he will provide high-level finance & operations management activities. She/he will be in charge of monitoring projects budgets and expenditures and financial reporting.

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES
  • Applying candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification and Business administration will be added advantage. Candidate should have a minimum of five (5) years of working experience in the reputable organization.
  • The candidate should also have demonstrable demonstrated capacity and prior experience and knowledge in managing finance, personnel, administrative and logistics and compliance aspects of donor funded projects in for/not for profit organizations.
  • Applying candidate should have wide knowledge of business financial systems e.g. navigator, cost point, SAP, Quick Books, etc. Knowledge in Excel and experience with modeling and analytics are preferred.
  • The candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills in Swahili and English with excellent interpersonal communication skills, detailed oriented and demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations

OPERATIONS ASSISTANT/RECEPTIONIST
POSITION SUMMARY
The Operations Assistant will work under the HR and Operations Officer to provide general support to project office operations and administration 

QUALIFICATION
Applying candidate must have at least a Diploma in front office desk management/secretarial services. Additional qualifications may be of added advantage. The candidate must be competent in computer skills including Microsoft office operations. She/he must have at least two (2) years of experience as a receptionist and/front office desk management. Candidate must also be fluent in spoken and written English and Kiswahili.

LOGISTICS and EVENTS COORDINATOR
POSITION SUMMARY
The Logistics and Events Coordinator will work under and report to the Finance and Operations Manager to organize and coordinate project field and office logistics.

Applying candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Public Relations, Business Administration or any other related field. Working experience in a similar position will be an added advantage.

The prospective candidate must be a Holder of Master degree in Sociology or Public Health from a recognized university. She/he must be willing to register for a sandwich Ph.D. program in the areas of Public Health

PROJECT OFFICER – FIELD SUPERVISOR
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCES
A holder of Bachelor degree in Sociology, Statistics, Public Health
Experience working with statistical software packages is an added advantage
Ability to manage and lead field activities teams

HUMAN RESOURCE AND OPERATIONS OFFICER
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR and Operations Officer will report to the Project Lead and will work under the Finance and Operations Manager to provide support to administrative, human resource and finance support functions. 

QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, AND COMPETENCIES
Applying candidate must have a Bachelor degree in Human Resource Management, possession of MBA will be an added advantage. The candidate must also have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in HR and administration from reputable organizations.
The candidate must possess a good understanding of operationalization of HR policies, knowledge in Tanzania labor laws. She/he must also demonstrate experiences in managing staff from multiple disciplines as well as managing multiple tasks.
