TCCIA Membership Management
Objectives of the Assignment The main objective of this assignment is to organize, recommend and document effective strategies to market TCCIA’s mission, enhance membership recruitment and retention strategies. Embark on feasible revenue collection strategies which would increase member satisfaction and membership fee payments. This assignment is a next step to the previous ENGINE support to these TCCIA chapters. nafasi za ajira march 2019

Volunteer Qualifications
TCCIA Organizational Development Expert Volunteer required skills and qualifications:
A minimum of University degree in economics, business administration, Marketing, public policy, or another relevant field;
5+ years of experience working within a Chamber of Commerce in an organizational development role (and, preferably in the business planning, policy development, advocacy and budgeting processes);

A proven track record of conducting organizational development and capacity building needs assessments, and the preparation of management/administrative documents, systems and tools;
Experience in stakeholder engagement, consultation and facilitation;

Well-developed writing skills in English and the ability to express one’s self clearly and concisely;
Training/facilitation skills, including participatory training in group settings. Training and consultation experience utilizing a translator or interpreter is an added plus;

Self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, mature, professional team player, who is a strong people-person and communicator, with good inter-personal skills;
Ability to address issues, challenges, questions and concerns in a professional, respectful, logical and timely manner;
Works well in a multi-cultural setting.
Good computer skills in MS Office.

Management Policy Reform Specialist
Objectives of the Assignment
The main objective of this assignment is to assist Local Government Authorities in Pemba to evaluate their solid and liquid waste collection, disposal and recycling’s policies, bylaws, regulations and resources, draft service improvement plans, propose funding mechanisms to improve the delivery of solid waste collection and disposal, as well as the recycling of the same and to recommend follow-on volunteer assignments in these areas. nafasi za kazi 2019

Waste Management Expert
Objectives of the Assignment
The main objective of this assignment is to enhance the capacity of Community Based Organizations and other relevant key stakeholders involved in garbage collection to effectively collect and dispose solid waste within these LGAs to bring about improved cleanliness and environmental management for Morogoro and Iringa Municipal councils with zero-waste objectives.

Private Sector Development Volunteer Expert
Objective of the Assignment
Facilitate an institutional/organizational needs assessment of the TCCIA district chapters performances through identifying strengths and gaps.
Provide recommendations for improvement in order to enhance organization/operational capacity and sustainability.

Qualification of the Expert Volunteer
5+ years of experience working within a Chamber of Commerce in operational management, marketing and economic management, information and communication for networking and advocacy;
A minimum of University Degree in Business Administration, Project/Development Planning and Management, Economics, Agri-Business and/or Industrial Development. Master’s degree and above is an added advantage.

An innovative and creative professional with experience in membership recruitment and retention
Stakeholder engagement skills, especially networking and linkages.
Lobbying and Advocacy skills
Well equipped with computer skills especially Excel, Word and Publisher.
Report writing skills
Knowledge on how TCCIA operates in Tanzania and proven experience in similar assignments in Tanzania will be an added advantage.

Works well in a multi-cultural setting
Experience in stakeholders’ engagement, consultation and facilitation
