STATION MANAGERS Post: 3
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Responsibility:
With the expertise that you are carrying, you are required to report to your superiors on your day to day functions of your duties. You shall be answerable to the Management in the performance of such duties as hereunder.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Lead and manage the airline’s ground handling suppliers and airport companies at the nominated base(s) and satellite airports to deliver targeted performance outcomes in all areas of safety, compliance, cost control and operational performance.
ii) Ensure that ground handling companies and airport operations comply with safety standards at all times.
iii) Manage cost in line with budget and deliver ever lower cost operational solutions and arrangements with the growth of the airline, achieving volume based discounts.
iv) Identify all new opportunities for operational improvement and/or cost savings in the nominated area of responsibility.
v) Ensure scalable growth for the nominated base(s) and satellite airports in all areas including, but not limited to, the startup of new operational locations, the increasing AIRCO HOLDINGS Limited is a concessioned ground handler at Mwanza Airport. AIRCO has the following vacancies for which suitably qualified candidates are invited to apply. of base sizes, alternate and diversion arrangements and close management of any disruption.
vi) Contribution to preparation of standard ground handling agreement (SGHA) templates
vii) Execution of full scale supplier (organizational) audits and management of other GOMs in audit planning, reporting and follow-up.
viii) Management of trainings and training schedule of GOMs
ix) Participation in internal and external quality/compliance related cross-functional projects,
x) Undertaking of station visits and relevant audits/inspections/trainings as well as follow up on outstanding items as Air Safety reports, mystery passenger report, audit findings and other findings within the confines of Ground Operations processes,
xi) Support the Ground Operations Team in activities across the network as required General administration and reporting duties.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Relations or equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution.
ii) Knowledge and competence in information and communication technology (ICT) application, and familiarity with some of management software.
iii) Working experience prior to Aviation (Airline Industry) of a minimum of 3 years will be an added advantage.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT Post: 6
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Responsibility:
You will be answerable to the Customer Services Controller on your day to day duties. You are required to appear smart and clean while on duty and conduct yourself with such responsible attitude even after duty hours.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Preparation of the check-in counters, manifests, boarding passes, DCS and printers for pax. check in;
ii) Preparation of documents like General Declaration and other ships papers for the departing flight;
iii) Cordially greet passengers by name when checking in;
iv) Check in procedures must be adhered to by asking for pax.ID against his/her booking/ticket issued;
v) Ensure that, passengers are asked about packing of their personal baggage not to include restricted /hazardous items.
vi) Ensure all baggage are properly weighed and any excess weight is properly charged for and receipt issued;
vii) Ensure correct labels & tags are placed on baggage for proper destination;
viii) Liaise with the Carriers ‘Representatives for check in of PRM, Sick or Pregnant cases requiring medical certificates
ix) Ensure passengers do not take long in the checking process at your desk
x) Assist in directing pax to the departure Lounge;
xi) Make announcements for departure, arrival, delay or any other required public announcement as directed by your Supervisors.
xii) Assist in the Boarding process for pax.by extracting boarding passes, directing passengers to board buses/ aircraft smoothly;
xiii) Ensure use of correct hand signals when marshaling the driver of the bus, Operator on GSE when positioning or reversing equipment or vehicle;
xiv) Ensure passengers access to the airside is on orderly manner;
xv) Ensure doors, passenger steps are safe for use;

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of Diploma in Business Administration, or equivalent from Aviation College recognized by TCAA/ICAO.
ii) Knowledge and competence in information and communication technology (ICT) application.
iii) Load sheet/Dispatch course from A recognized College by TCAA/ICAO
iv) Working experience prior to a reputable Ground Handling Company of a minimum of 2 years will be an added advantage.
v) Applicants who are fresh and meet the criteria are advised to apply, training will be provided.

GSE/DRIVER/OPERATORS Post: 6
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Responsibility:
You will be answerable to the Senior Ramp Controller in your day to day duties which shall be as follows:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Ensure all GSE to be used in handling the aircraft is in position and in good working condition;
ii) Liaise with TAA Marshallers for parking bay allocation;
iii) Ensure all manpower including Drivers /Operators are available and ready at least 45 minutes before arrival of the aircraft;
iv) Check that all handling documents are ready with your staff ; e.g. Ramp Check Sheet, loading instructions, manpower allocation list etc;
v) Liase with Load Control for any changes with regard to physical loading/trim changes for the aircraft ;
vi) Liase with fuel providers if needed by airline Representative or crew of the aircraft;
vii) Ensure all load restraining material , load spreaders ,nets, locks straps, etc. are available for the aircraft as supplied and needed ;
viii) Ensure all cargo and baggage has gone through proper security checks before being delivered for loading;
ix) Coordinate with Airco Operators to have a seamless flow of activity in the handling of the aircraft;
x) Supervise fully the proper loading of the aircraft according to the weight & balance trim.
xi) Make inspection of the fuselage at the arrival and departure of the aircraft to note
any discrepancies such as dents, holes, or even paint bruises;
xii) Ensure removal of any FOD on the Ramp;
xiii) Ensure that, cleaners of the cabin & lavatories are on time for such operations;
xiv) Check up the cleaning as standards in the cabin & toilets;
xv) Ensure the cleaning checklist has been signed by the crew;
xvi) Ensure all ship papers are on board before chocks off
xvii) Monitor the chocking on/off of the aircraft at arrival/departure ;
xviii) Ensure no GSE or personnel is near or behind the aircraft when the engines are started ;
xix) Deliver figures for timely departure, weights loaded /off loaded passengers disembarked /embarked Number of Crews etc. to Operations Dept. in good time to facilitate finalization of Movement Report of the aircraft
xx) Check the water carts , van for toilet servicing of the aircraft are duly filled with chemical fluids and replenishing water;
xxi) Ensure that the staff are smartly dressed and with Personal Protective Gears (as required ) when handling on the Ramp or warehouse ;
xxii) Ensure all baggage holds are empty before loading any baggage/Cargo
xxiii) Coordinate with Security for safe handling of firearms and ammunitions to be
placed in proper containers supplied by airline;
xxiv) Ensure documents for such goods are properly handled to through the concerned hands;

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of secondary education as holder of CSE/ACSE.
ii) Possession of class C driving license.
iii) Has attended Engineering courses on motor vehicle operation and maintenance.
iv) Has attended courses in Heavy Duty Engines preferably Diesel Engines.
v) Can operate heavy duty machinery like High Loader, Push Back and Tractors, etc.
vi) Working experience prior to a reputable Ground Handling Company of a minimum of 2 years will be an added advantage.

SECURITY OFFICER Post: 6
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Responsibility:
With the expertise that you are carrying you are required to report to your superiors on your day to day functions of your duties. You shall be answerable to the Management in the performance of such duties as hereunder

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

I) Detection of frauds and thefts;
II) Monitor on the safety of the company’s property , its staff and customer’s property;
III) Carry out guard and investigation aimed at the safety of the company and its customers;
IV) Ensure patrolling of premises ,surroundings and prohibited areas;
V) Check upon the Duty Reporting of Staff Register and indicate incidents to follow up;
VI) Report on any suspicious elements or characters and take necessary steps to prevent
negative impact to the company and its customers;
VII) Prevent pilferage of customers, airlines or company property;
VIII) Collect and register Arms and Ammunitions for travelling passenger and deliver as appropriate to their owners;
IX) Monitor carriage of Hazardous materials &others for proper handling;
X) Check on proper acceptance /Delivery of Cargo to Customers /Agents and their IDs;
XI) Monitor on the issuance of Gate Passes and payment receipts ;
XII) Check on ID for staff and others entering the company areas;
XIII) Monitor on the Safety of the aircraft , the apron, staff and passengers or their luggage;
XIV) Monitor on GSE movement and vehicles for safe speed, operations also parking at designated areas;
XV) Follow up on court cases involving the company or its interest;
XVI) Coordinate with Authorities on matters of security ;
XVII) Participate in Security Committee meetings ;

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of Secondary or High School education as a holder of CSE/ACSE.
ii) Possession of Diploma in Business Administration, Security Management or equivalent from Aviation College recognized by TCAA/ICAO.
iii) Possession of Basic Security Course STP 123 and Screener’s course (AVSEC)
iv) Secondary or High School is the first step when applying for this opportunity, though preference might be given to candidates that have experience of a minimum of 2 years in the Aviation Industry or in Security Services.

CARGO CLERK Post: 5
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Requirement
The company requires a successful candidate to perform such duties below diligently to the satisfaction of our customers. You are therefore expected to:- Be able to understand the normal procedures in cargo related activities.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i) Dispatch documents appropriately prepare for outgoing cargo to the aircraft ships paper bags.
ii) Check import or export documentation to determine cargo contents and classify goods according to fee or tariff group.
iii) Keep records of all goods shipped, received, and stored.
iv) Prepare appropriate documents for cargo to be shipped
v) Check cargo, mail bags or courier bags for any anomalies
vi) Check bonded cargo for transfer , delivery to customers
vii) Prepare documents as required by Cargo Controller
viii)Collect documents from incoming flights
ix) Segregate stored cargo as required in the warehouse
x) Notify Supervisor and Security on any cargo requiring special handling
xi) Fill in Register for Cargo outgoing /incoming note AWB /MAWB or HAWB numbers and bay number positioned or removed
xii) Ensure the warehouse, cold store and security cage are always tidy and clean
xiii)Ensure all environment is kept tidy and clean
xiv)Check AWB/HAWB against manifest and split to forward to respective sections
xv) Register in the system all cargo incoming /outgoing to inform respective sections.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
i) Possession of Diploma in Business Administration, Inventory Management or equivalent from Aviation College recognized by TCAA/ICAO.
ii) Knowledge and competence in information and communication technology (ICT) application.
iii) Working experience prior to a reputable Ground Handling Company of a minimum of 2 years will be an added advantage.

TECHNICIAN Post: 3
Duty Station:
(Shall be positioned for stations inside Tanzania)
Requirement
The company requires a successful candidate to be answerable to the Workshop Supervisor in day to day duties which are as follows

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

i) Ensure you are always in tidy uniform;
ii) You must be able to follow the service schedule prepared for the upkeep and maintenance of all vehicles and GSE;
iii) Ensure you have a valid driving license and required permits ;
iv) You shall operate and drive vehicles as per standard requirements of the Company and TAA Regulations;
v) You shall be required to follow all safety procedures in the handling of GSE and vehicles;
vi) You are to ensure economic use of oils, fuel and other company properties;
vii) Ensure all equipment are serviceable and clean;
viii)Ensure all fitter and turner requirements are performed with expertise and cleanliness;
ix) Ensure all areas at the workshop and surroundings are tidy with no litter, oil spills or standing water ;
x) Prevent oil leakages from equipment /vehicles;
xi) Ensure daily checks on all GSE and vehicles ;

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications and experience:
