Position: Assistant GPS Technician
Job Summary
-Tracking and Installation of GPS vehicles devices - Minimum Qualification: Diploma
- Experience Level: Executive level
- Experience Length: 5 years
Metl Group of Company,
-Installation of the GPS devices in vehicles
-Conduct checkup & Trouble shoot the problem for GPS devices not generating data
-Assist the tracking team in the root cause analysis of reported issues
-Highlight any device tampering issues to tracking supervisor, unit head, and tracking system
-Collect the configured tracking device with SIM card and accessories from the office
-Get the job cards signed from tracking supervisors and unit heads,and submit to field coordinator/ customer care
-Inform to the control room and IT team about the new installation and check ups details
-Pass the installation information to the tracking supervisor and unit head
-Maintain the tool kits inventory
-Maintain the inventory used for installation and inform to customer care
-provide accurate information of the list of accessories used for installation/ check up
-Provide proper information to unit heads & Tracking team regarding vehicle inspections and checkups
-Provide training to new and junior staff
-GPS
technician shall be able Flexible with working hours since most of the
customers vehicles are available before or after office hours. if
working late /early hours is required, that shall be compensated with
same number of hours permission on another day as per the discretion of
the reporting officer
- Shall practice flexibility to lend a hand wherever needed
- Candidate should have Diploma in any Automobile electronics / Electrical
- Good in depth knowledge in automobile electrical wiring and electronics
-Applicants should have knowledge in computer
-Applicants should have special exposure in installation of GPS vehicle tracking devices
-- Applicants should be good in public relations
NOTE: Salary budget is Tsh. 300,000/=gross + incentives
