OVERVIEW
St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT) is a Catholic University established in 1998 and governed by the Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC). It is the successor of Nyegezi Social Training Centre that was established in 1960 by the White Fathers. SAUT’s vision is to foster holistic development of a person and respect for human dignity. Its mission is to strive at: (i) being a centre of excellence by providing high quality education, research and public service; (ii) promoting the pursuit of defense of truth with transparency and honesty, and service with competence and dedication; (iii) developing a sense of care for personal and community property, and; (iv) a holistic development of the person by providing sound knowledge, higher analytical ability and commitment to generous service and respect to humankind.

ASSISTANT LECTURERS
- Entry qualification for Assistant Lecturer position
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Public Relations and Marketing or Mass Communication from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with GPA 3.8 or above.
- Holder of a Master Degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing or MBA with a base in Marketing from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with GPA 4.0 or above.
- Work experience of two years and above is an important condition for applicants.

- Entry qualification for Senior Lecturer position
- Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Laws from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with (First class, or Upper second class), with GPA 3.8.
- Holder of a Master Degree in Laws from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with GPA 4.0.
- Holder of a PhD in Laws or LLD from an accredited Higher Learning Institution with GPA 4,0.
- Proof of sufficient publications in the area of Law.

Successful candidates will be employed on Contract terms of three (3) years renewable upon satisfactory performance and through mutual agreement.
