JOB TITLE: SME LOAN OFFICERS 
AccessBank Tanzania Limited is currently looking for self-motivated individuals who are interested in pursuing his/her career as an SME Loan Officer, we encourage individuals that meet the below requirements to send their updated CV and application letter through to [email protected]

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Undertake Compliance monitoring and policy testing review in accordance with the plan
  • Clean portfolio with PAR below 5% and consistency performance for the past 6 months.
  • Screen clients/applicants in regards to eligibility requirements for SME Loans
  • Analyse the required client’s/applicant’s documentation and/or information accurately and in the correct format place
  • Present and justify credit proposals to the Credit Committee to gain approval
  • Ensure disbursement process is followed from screening to disbursement within 1 to 2 business weeks
  • Achieve disbursement targets as defined by the bank – Weekly/Monthly and ensure quality standards
  • Print a report daily from LFS MBS, and assess Portfolio’s at Risk (PAR) – follow standard recovery procedures
  • Maintain PAR at 5% PAR1 and ensure scheduled client monitoring visitation are in place
  • Legal – Client security and recovery documentation is verified and easily retrievable to ensure accurate and timely disbursement and recovery

Requirements and Baseline Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (Micro or Agro Loan Services)
  • Degree in Accounts, Banking and Finance, Business Administration or other related fields.
  • Experience in regulatory compliances would be an added advantage
  • Sound knowledge of bank laws, regulations and regulatory agencies
  • Good knowledge of AccessBank products and services
  • Immense ability to compose reports 
  • Ability to develop and maintain good customer relationships
  • Good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An honest person with high integrity and independence who will observe professional ethics in executing his/her duties
  • Ability and willingness to learn and improve continuously
