CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Background
T-MARC
Tanzania is a non-profit Tanzanian organization working to improve
public health and promote social development. Our socially marketed
products and behavior change communication initiatives address pertinent
health issues in family planning and reproductive health, child
survival, water and sanitation, nutrition and
communicable/non-communicable infections like malaria, HIV/AIDS and
cervical cancer.Background
T-MARC is currently implementing three project; I) USAID Social Enterprise which has focused on family planning and HIV prevention products, such as condoms, and oral contraceptives 2) USAID Tulonge Afya in partnership with Family Health International (FHI 360), this is an SBC focused project and 3) Comic Relief – BadilishaTabiaTokomeza Malaria, it’s is an SBCC project which is focused on malaria prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

As part of the current initiatives to strengthen Monitoring Evaluation and Research (MER) system,T-MARC Tanzania wishes to have in place, an integrated database that will incorporated and made use of the customized open source platform to facilitate efficient and effective management ofT-MARC program data. Currently, the organization has multiple platforms depending on the donor requirements to collect, collate, analyse and report data prone to questionable quality, access, visualization, security, representation and standard of collected data. For example, USESA project uses SFA system, USAID Tulonge Afya uses a separate online database system and Badili TabiaTokomeza Malaria has a customized DHIS2 platform to collect, analyse and produce reports.The intended database is expected to integrate all the current fragmented systems to a common and unified system that link and support donor and national systems.
In light with the above background,T-MARC invites expression of interest from registered firms in Tanzanian with suitable set of skills, knowledge and experience to develop a database system.

Requirements
Specifically, prospective partners will be required to submit a brief note of not more than 4 pages detailing their areas of work and experience in database development.
Together with the brief note, please attach the following documents: –
- Cover letter detailing expression of interest and competencies
- Certified copy of Registration Certificate, Business license,TIN Number and VRN
- At least two references, one of them being the most recent client you have worked with.
- Applicant’s contact details (phone, email, website, physical address)

Next Steps
Expressions of Interest must be submitted to the following email address procurement@tmarc.or.tz before 1600 HRS local time on Tuesday 02nd June, 2020. No hard copy submission will be accepted.
