WaterAid Tanzania Jobs 2021Overview:
It’s hard to believe that today 844 million people do not have clean
water and 2.3 billion do not have a decent toilet – around one in three
of the world’s population. Every two minutes, a child under five dies
from diarrheal diseases caused by poor water and sanitation. We started
because no NGO like us existed. We will end when no organisation like us
is needed. In the meantime, we are making great progress – since 1981,
we have reached 25 million people with clean water and, since 2004, 24
million people with sanitation.
WaterAid Tanzania is looking to fill the following vacancies below to play a vital role in our mission to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere by 2030.

Consultants- Assessment of the Sustainability of Arusha Five Villages Water Supply Scheme
Deadline- 23rd July 2021, at 17:00hrs EAT.
Location- Tanzania
The Arusha Five Villages water supply scheme provides 2.3 million litres of water per day, serving 50,000 people in Ngaramtoni town, it’s three sub villages (Ekwenywa, Seuri and Ngaramutoni) and two rural villages (Olkokola and Lengijave. WaterAid Tanzania is looking for consultants to assess and produce a report containing useful learning about the appropriateness of the current service option and recommendations for the future sustainability of the Arusha scheme with supporting annexes. The report should also make recommendations for strengthening processes for technology/service option selection. The main body of the report should be no longer than 50 pages. The report should feature an overview of the scheme (map) and sections relevant to the objectives set out above. Recommendations should be summarised in the executive summary along with a commentary on the current prospects for sustainability of the scheme
