Job description
Airswift is seeking an Assistance Metier Finance to work in Tanzania for a 1-year contract (with possible extension)!Recommended:

Activities:
-Prepare the Conversion data files on Supplier data
-Update the current list with new accounts (currently circa 150 accounts)
-Add missing information not available from SAP
-Confirm the bank account details with appropriate documentation
-Confirm payments term with C&P contracts
-Confirm contact detail, address
-Perform loading tests in Workday
-Compile the list of assets from IT
-Confirm the accuracy and update of all details including Custodians
-Add the any other movable assets such as vehicles
-Prepare the IFRS 16 analysis of all contracts in general and of rent contracts in particular
-Perform loading tests in Workday
-Compile the accounting entries coming from SAP
-Prepare the mapping from SAP (GL, WBS) to Workday (spend categories, worktags)
-Add missing information (worktags)
-Check the correct accountability of all entries
-Prepare the accounting entries for all transactions not posted in SAP (mainly cash movements --from JPM account)
-Prepare the VAT, WHT, exchange differences entries
-Perform loading tests in Workday
-Ensure clearing assist in testing the monthly / quarterly closure procedures
-Support the correct set-up of the VAT / local WHT entries
-Support the correct set-up of the WHT-NRS entries, whether fully paid locally or shared 60/40 --between TZ/UG
-Assist in preparing the draft of the Accounting Manual for EACOP Ltd
-Assist in accuracy and reliability of the first sets of EACOP Ltd Financial statements from Workday

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business administration. Knowledge of Workday or similar ERP, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience: Minimum 15 years in the Finance department. Full hands-on experience in Finance such as Assets, Suppliers, General Accounting, and Taxes. Prior experience with ERP deployment.
- Abilities: Organizational, team spirit and interpersonal skill.
