Site Human Resources Officers: (3 positions)
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of the recruitment processes
  • Maintaining of all the recruitment data and records.
  • Participating in the community employment awareness programs.
  • Preparing the recruitment plan
  • Ensuring compliance of the HR processes including recruitment, manpower data and training records.
  • Monitoring staff attendance in daily basis.

Scaffolders: (4 Positions)
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Scaffold builders are responsible assembling and dismantling scaffolding structures that allow workers to access specific portions of a building to perform needed work.
  • Builds, positions, and dismantles wooden structures, such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or company standards.
  • Craft that aren’t afraid to climb, walk, and work at high elevations. Fixing the scaffolding to the building or structure to make it more stable, using short’tie tubes’
  • Laying planks (battens) across the scaffolding for workers to walk on
  • Putting up the scaffolding poles (standards) and attaching the horizontal tubes (ledgers) to them with couples
  • Unloading scaffolding equipment at the site
  • Fixing guard rails and safety netting
  • Taking down the scaffolding after a job is finished.
  • Setting base plates on the ground at regular intervals(these stop the upright poles slipping)

Requirements:

  • Examines, selects, and gathers materials and tools.
  • Examines blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions of structure.
  • Inspect base surface for obstructions.
  • Saws boards and plywood panels to required sizes.
  • Uses carpentry hand tools such as hammers, levels, squares, screw drivers, adjustable wrenches, hand and power saws, drill motors and pry bars.
  • Assembles scaffold containing handrails, mid rails, braces and planks, toe boards, screening, locking pins and wheels to job specifications.
  • Determines type of scaffold needed and how to properly instruct on how to install.
  • Oversight of transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erects the scaffold as instructed by the scaffold builder.
  • Hoists scaffolding materials upward in order to erect temporary structure.

Location:

Descriptions:
  • Monitors machinery to ensure it works according to company quality requirements.
  • Adjust machine to ensure mixing output contains a minimal amount of out of specification product.
  • Operate machine in compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform safety inspection of machine before, during and after operation
  • Make adjustments to equipment as needed without minimal interruption

Duties and responsibilities

  • Comply with procedures and protocols as per the company stock management and control policy
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with stock Bin cards
  • Setup store layout to ensure efficient space utilization
  • Plans and performs work that involves ordering, receiving, inspecting, returning, loading and off-loading.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts in his/her warehouse and/ or stores.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a diploma in store keeping or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in store keeping, inventory control, or record keeping in busy environment.

  • Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand tools and specifications.

  • Using hand and power tools to cut and bend steel bars and mesh.
  • Laying out steel bars, mesh, rods, and framework.
  • Hoisting steel bars, mesh, and reinforcements into place.
  • Fitting spacers and supports.
  • Joining steel reinforcement bars (rebar), footings, and girders by welding or with clips or wires.
  • Fixing steel bars and mesh to solid concrete bases.
  • Using rebar to build casts that will keep setting concrete in place.
  • Preparing concrete, mixing sand, cement, and water, and pouring the concrete into the prepared casts.

Steel Fixer Requirements:
  • A completed apprenticeship in steel fixing.
  • A completed “Work Safely at Heights” short course.
  • VETA certification in steel fixing may be advantageous.
  • 5 years’ work experience in construction may be advantageous.
  • A good understanding of health and safety issues.
  • The ability to read and follow technical plans and drawings.

QA/QC Engineers: (2 positions)
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering construction relating to Civil, Architectural, and Structural discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
  • Responsible for QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered, and other important QA/QC documents.
  • Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
  • Review the quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
  • Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes.
  • Assist with employees to ensure knowledge of all quality standards and ensure compliance to all quality manuals and procedures and collaborate with contractors and suppliers to maintain the quality of all systems.
  • Manage to lift all types of equipment and handle the efficient storage of all hazardous materials and perform quality audits as perthe required schedule.
  • Analyze all products and non-conformance processes and evaluate all documents to ensure the maintenance of optimal quality and prepare monthly reports to evaluate performance.
  • Monitor an efficient system and record for all project activities and analyze all processes to ensure all work according to quality requirements.
  • Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.
  • Develop a method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
  • Liaise the Technical Engineer for submission of material submittals to Consultant
  • Coordinate with the consultant’s representative and Site In-charge for inspection.

: (3 Positions)
Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage, design, develop, create and maintain small-scale through to large-scale construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
  • Conduct on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
  • Assess potential risks, materials and costs
  • Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies
  • Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
  • Handle over the resulting structures and services for use
  • Monitor progress and compile reports in project status

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing all Site construction projects

  • Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
  • Supervising contracted staff
  • Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially Quantity Surveyors and the overall Project Manager
  • Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
