PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To provide technical support, Preventive Maintenance execution, troubleshoot and repair all reported breakdowns, record, and report all defects which do not impact normal equipment operation for planning on all LME-auxiliary equipment’s as per GGM safety standards, procedure and requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certificate of Secondary Education.
- VETA trade test certificate Grade one/level three or above.

- At least 3 years hands-on experience in dewatering pumps maintenance and CAT Engines e.g C9, C12, C13, C15, C18.
- Must have a valid Tanzania driving license and able to drive light vehicles and light trucks.
MAIN OR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Promote safety and safe work practices.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance on Dewatering Pumps and Gensets in timely manner and in accordance with the schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of serviced equipment and complete job card.
- Adhere to inspection procedure checklist and capture defects for planning.
- Perform and analyse diagnostic tests results and formulate solution or recommend appropriate actions.
- Promote positive and collaborative work relationships.
- Use company resources correctly as per company procedure (e.g. Hand tools, Light vehicles etc)
- Comply to site safety standards and requirements.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Engines Repairs as per OEM Standard.
- Assemble centrifugal pump as per OEM standards.
- Good Supervisory skills.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication in both Swahili and English.
