Overview
STAMIGOLD Company Limited – Biharamulo Mine is a subsidiary company of the State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) operating a gold mine. The Mine is located in the Biharamulo Forest Reserve, South West of Mwanza in Kagera Region.

Mobile Equipment Operator (04) Posts
Work Station: Biharamulo Mine Site
Contract Duration: 33 months, subject to renewal
Work Roster: 6/3
Duties and responsibilities:
- The operator is expected to use the front-end loader effectively and safely to ensure high productivity as well as to appreciate the machine’s maintenance and optimum working parameters
- Performs routine maintenance on loaders, such as lubricating, fuelling, and cleaning
- Participates in making sure the quality and quantity of feed materials to the crusher/hopper bin meets established standards
- Ensures assigned established performance indicators are met
- Report any hazard, incident or accident to his/her immediate supervisor in a timely manner
- Inspect and document any machine’s defect and report to your immediate supervisor
- Other duties aligning to the job as assigned by the supervisor

- Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision;
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner at desirable standards;
- Able to promote safe work practice at work place;
- Demonstrated track record of integrity and honesty;
- Experience in the mining Industry will be an added advantage.

- Holder of Certificate of Secondary School Education/ Technical Certificate or related certificate from a recognized Institution;
