To put in place and strengthen structures and procedures which will enable a country to get educated and continuous learning Tanzanians that add value in National development.
Organization structure
In order for the Ministry to carry out its mandate efficiently and effectively, it is proposed to have One (1) Office, Seven (7) Divisions and Eight (8) Units (see Chart): -

- Basic Education Division; and
- Special Needs Education Unit.
- Quality Assurance Division;
- Higher Education Division;
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training Development Division;
- Science, Technology and Innovation Division;
- Policy and Planning Division;
- Administration and Human Resources Management Division;
- Finance and Accounts Unit;
- Internal Audit Unit;
- Information and Communication Technology Unit;
- Procurement Management Unit;
- Government Communication Unit;
- National Commission for UNESCO; and
- Legal Services Unit.
Overview:
The
Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is a government organ
with a status of independent Department established specifically to
facilitate the recruitment process of employees to the Public Service.
Public Service Recruitment Secretariat was established by the Public
Service Act No. 8 0f 2002 as amended by Act No. 18 of 2007, section
29(1)
