Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
- Maintain work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
- Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary
- Test s vehicles and ensures/ verifies the road worthiness of vehicles upon receiving vehicles from the garage/completes vehicles maintenance confirmation form
- Ensure that all vehicles have the appropriate and repair tools and equipment on board to enable users to perform miner maintenance and repairs in the field.
- Prepare and submit monthly fuel consumption, maintenance and repair reports.
- Manage all vehicles conversion and branding and make sure they meet TMHS standards,
- Provide technical advice to procurement during sourcing process of vehicles
- He will be in-charge of all Company vehicles and machinery
- He will be responsible to inspect all new purchased vehicles to make sure they meet requirements
- He shall plan and manage all vehicles and machinery acquisition, maintenance and disposal process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as auto mechanic
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
- Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS and Excel Office
- At least 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or any related field.
