World Vision Tanzania invites tenders from eligible bidders; reputable and registered contractors as described in the table below:
LOT 1: Construction of water supply project (pipe & civil works) at Kwagunda village Mnyuzi AP -Eastern Cluster
a) Construction of Kwagunda water project
LOT 2: Construction of water supply project at Kafunjo village at Bushangalo AP – Western Cluster, Kagera
a) Extension of Kafunjo water project
LOT3: Rehabilitation of water pan at Mbuyuni village at Makuyuni AP – Eastern Cluster
a) Rehabilitation of Mbuyuni water pan
LOT 4: Construction of water supply project at Beredi and Iboja villages at Lagana AP – Lake cluster
LOT 5: Construction of water supply project at Inalo and Mwakipoya villages at Lagana and Mwakipoya AP – Lake cluster
LOT 6: Construction of AP office at Kakonko Villages Kakonko AP – Kigoma Cluster
a) Construction of Kakonko AP office
LOT 7: Construction of office and latrines at Muhe and Muyoyozi Villages at Muhe AP – Kigoma Cluster a) Construction of latrines at Muyoyozi Primary school
LOT 8: Construction of Classrooms at Nyamen primary school at Ulaya AP – Southern Cluster
a) Construction of two classroom with office at Nyamen primary school
LOT 9: Construction of Maternity and Derively Building at Sibondamalu Village at Lutende -Lake Cluster
a) Construction of Maternity and Derively Building at Sibondamalu dispensary in Sibondamalu village
LOT 10: Construction of latrines at Ichwandimi, Kabirizi and Rukoma PS, Kikagate, Kangoma, bweyenza, at Mbuka AP- Kagera
LOT 11: Drilling and construction of borehole and pump test
a) Drilling productive bore hole at Shamkeri and Rukoma Villages at Makuyuni and Rukoma Ap- Eastern and Western (Kagera) Clusters
Bidders shall email their bank deposit slip for a non-refundable fee of Tsh. 50,000 (Tsh. Fifty Thousand only) Per Lot to the email address; tzao_tenders@wvi.org The same email address will confirm receipt and send you bid documents within 48 hours through Coupa Provision system. Upon sending your email indicate the Lot Number of the tender and company name as the email subject.

Bids shall be submitted to PROVISION COUPA SYSTEM on or before 26th April, 2024 at 10:00hrs. Bids sent after the closing date will not be Accepted as the system will automatically close and wont allow for submission.
Tenders will be opened immediately on the same bid closing day and time in the presence of bidders or representatives who wish to witness the opening via online platform ZOOM link that will be shared in your email.
Note that WVT is not bound to accept the lowest, highest or any tender.
The evaluation of bids will be conducted as per World Vision Tanzania Procurement Guidelines.

- The World Vision Tanzania – Head Office in Arusha invites sealed tenders from eligible Contractors;
- Class six and above (Class 3 to 6) registered by CRB Tanzania (Local Contractor Categories) in both Civil and Building for construction of Building and water supply projects,
- Class seven and above (Class 3 to 7) for construction of building projects,
- Drillers registered by BRELA and having water drilling licenses
- Lots (1,2, and 3 -Construction of Water projects) require eligible Contractors Class six and above (Class 3 to 6) registered by CRB Tanzania (Local Contractor Categories) in both Civil and Building with a minimum three years experiences, good records of performance and verifiable completed projects implemented within three years up to February, 2024.
- Lots(4 -Supply of Pipes) An eligible supplierwill supply pipes and fittings.(All pipe and fittings used should be HDPE Pressure Pipes from PLASCO and comply with ISO 4427:2019)
- Lots ( 5 -Installation of solar System to Water project) require eligible Contractors Class six and above (Class 3 to 6) registered by CRB Tanzania (Local Contractor Categories) in both Civil and Renewable energy or Electrical Building with a minimum three years experiences, good records of performance and verifiable completed projects implemented within three years up to February, 2024.
- Lots 6 up to 10 require eligible Contractors class seven and above for Civil/ building) registered by CRB Tanzania with a minimum three years experiences in constructions of buildings (classroom, latrines, Dispensary and Staff house), good records of performance and verifiable similar completed building projects implemented within three years up to February, 2024.
- Lot 11 require eligible Drillers registered by Tanzania (Local Drillers Categories) in drilling activities with a minimum three years experiences, good records of performance and verifiable completed projects implemented within three years up to February, 2024
- All submission of tenders are strictly electronic via Coupa Provision system. All submissions must be on a soft copy of the BOO in PDF fomart and in excel format which must be included in the bid package. (This soft copy is for comparison purposes only; the PDF BOO will be referred to in the evaluation of the bid).
- Submittion of bids is strictly through online COUPA system. No emailed soft copies neither physical hard copies will be accepted.
- Site Visits for all construction related works is Mandatory and shall be conducted on 09th April, 11th , 16th , 18th and 23th of April, 2024. Contact personell will be as per schedule shown in the tender documents.
- Given timeline for receipt of tender to be within 48hours, consider an early purchase to meet the deadline day.
