Position: Sales MANAGER
LOCATION: TANZANIA
JOB DESCRIPTION
Upwork Services Limited, on behalf of our valued client, would like to find a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue and expanding market share for the company. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies to accelerate sales growth, identify new business opportunities, and foster relationships with clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and objectives.
• Lead and manage a sales representatives/specialists team to drive sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Identify new business opportunities and market segments to expand the company's customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to foster long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the General Manager.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all sales activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role in the construction equipment industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• In-depth knowledge of sales techniques, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English and Swahili. Knowledge of other local languages would be a plus.
• Must be based in Tanzania or willing to relocate.

Reporting:
The Sales Manager will report directly to the General Manager.
