INVITATION FOR TENDERS
- Heart to Heart Foundation (HtHF) is a South Korea-based NGO established in 1988 to bring a beautiful society by supporting both domestic and international children and their families affected by poverty, disease, and disability. It has operated in Tanzania since 2009 and was officially registered in 2011 (No. 00NGO/00004737). HtHF is currently implementing a three-year (2024–2026) WASH project under the National Sanitation Campaign titled “Community-Based Comprehensive WASH.”
- As
part of its WASH project, Heart to Heart Foundation (HtHF) has
allocated funds for a geophysical survey, drilling of boreholes, and
installation of submersible/solar water pumps at five health centres in
Mtama District Council—Simana, Hingawali, Mtegu, Mbawala, and Litipu.
- HtHF invites sealed tenders from eligible Tanzanian drilling contractors registered in Class VII or above to undertake the work.Tendering will follow National Competitive Bidding. Interested and eligible bidders can obtain more information and inspect documents at the Heart to Heart Foundation office, Plot N036/37, Jamuhuri St., Lindi, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
- Interested bidders may request tender documents in English upon written application and payment of a non-refundable TSh 100,000 in cash. All Tenders in one original plus ONE copy must be sealed and submitted to Heart to Heart Foundation, Jamuhuri St., Lindi by 04 June 2025 at 11:00 am. Opening will be on 05 June 2025 at 12:15 pm in public.
- Late, electronic, or unopened tenders at the opening ceremony will not be accepted for evaluation under any circumstances.
