LICENCED AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - AVIONICS (3 Position(s))
Job Type: Full-time
Role Purpose Statement :
Carry out and certify all inspection, repair, replacement tasks on aircraft & aircraft systems and perform certification within his/her dual scope of approval in accordance with TCAA and company regulations at an optimized cost for the business whilst upholding high safety standards to maintain schedule integrity
Responsibility:
- Exercising the license/approval privileges in relation to the accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and rectification of defects to ensure maintenance is accomplished to the required standards and the operating programme is achieved in an efficient and safe manner.
- Recording and issuing of Certificates of Release to Service for the work accomplished in accordance with the current Maintenance Data, Company procedures and associated Regulatory requirements, for timely release of aircraft to maintain schedule integrity.
- Perform line/base maintenance, defects assessments, troubleshooting and rectification in accordance with company and manufacture procedures for safe and timely release of aircraft within planned downtime for continued airworthiness.
- Reviewing the work and resources allocated and required to ensure expedient rectification of defects utilising allocated staff.
- Advising the Maintenance Manager of any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme. Keeping the Maintenance Manager informed of all work performed by him during his duty period.
- Carry out and certify duplicate inspections on safety critical systems of the aircraft and engines to ensure system integrity.
- Ensuring staff under your immediate control adhere to published technical and safety requirements defined in published manuals and other publications.
- Defining priorities to the staff allocated to you to ensure that efficient use of resources are channeled to an on time and safe flight departure.
- Ensuring documentation and its certification is completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Company requirements.
- Identify and make requisition of the required parts.
- Ensure that replacement parts and components are of an approved type, correctly certified and released and are physically inspected prior to fitment to the aircraft or component.
- Ensure that removed components are correctly handled, labelled and blanked, and correctly channeled to the designated area/section.
- When supervising the work of others, ensuring that acceptable standards of workmanship and quality are maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task.
- Ensure arriving aircraft are met by either the Certifying Engineer or Technician and crews are suitably debriefed to ensure defects are accurately defined and recorded.
- Ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded accurately & signed for in order to maintain correct & up to date aircraft history /data
- Reporting and compilation of technical delay reports in a timely manner, reporting significant defects, discrepancies, hazards, incidents, accidents and events as required.
- Co-ordinate aircraft towing to and from hangars by communicating with the tower or apron control and operating the necessary aircraft systems for safe and timely movement of the aircraft.
- Ensure all safety precautions are complied with and actively participate in the Company SMS.
- Adhere to the company safety, health and environmental policy.
- Supervise and develop technicians for improved competency/ efficiency.
- Undertaking such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by supervisor.

Qualification Required:
- EASA B2, or ICAO type II License with the following type ratings ATR 42/72
- Dual LWTR plus approval on at least one aircraft type
- Experience in line and/or base maintenance environment
- Recent experience on ATR 72/42 with not less than 6 months of certification records in the past 2 years (verification letter and/or logbook signed/stamped will be requested)
- Diploma / Degree in the relevant engineering discipline
- In depth knowledge on aircraft systems
- Inspection and troubleshooting technique
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Knowledgeable on TCAA regulations
- Human factors knowledge
- Fluent in English
APPRENTICE TOOLS CONTROL AND CUSTOMER KEY ACCOUNT ENGINEER (1 Position(s))
Job Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
To undertake a structured training program of class training and on-job-training for performing the process of monitoring tools and equipment in order to keep them constantly in working order and to prevent delays in maintenance activity due to malfunctioning. Ensure all Third-Party M&E Customers are attended to on-time including timely preparation of Quotations and Sales Invoices for Materials & Services ensuring delivery of high standard services.
Responsibilities:
- Learn proper tools receipt procedures- delivery notes/packing lists tallying with orders, QA inspection and certification done, tagging and timely posting, and lodging enquiries to senior technical materials and sales engineer in the event of variances/discrepancies.
- Learn identification of tools & maintain a list of all tools and ensure tracking of service history and tools documentation. All tools and equipment must be identified by their part numbers & serial numbers if available and must be accompanied by the respective tags (whether serviceable or unserviceable).
- Learn to ensure all tools & equipment that require calibration are calibrated and the last calibration date & due date for calibration must be indicated on the tag.
- Learn to liaise with procurement in order to make arrangements for tools needing calibration or any other relevant servicing/maintenance to be sent out and delivered back on time in order to ensure availability and serviceability.
- Learn timely, accurate and procedural issue of tools to end users hence satisfaction.
- Learn to become one of the main focal points for the review of terms and conditions and highlight any areas of concern for consideration associated with serving of third-party customers.
- Learn preparation of quotations for materials and maintenance services for third-party customers and processing of received customer purchase orders.
- Attending inter-departmental meetings and liaise with technical services, line maintenance, base maintenance and workshops to ensure that the customer receives timely and high standard services.
- Maintaining extensive technical knowledge and assisting with closing sales where technical expertise may be required to fit customers needs.
- Learn to generate high-quality sales in order to promote securing and renewing orders. Participate in negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging delivery of materials & technical services to the client.
- Identifying areas for improvement and communicating these issues as well as possible solutions to upper management.
- Taking reasonable care of own safety and security and the safety of others who may be affected by your acts or omission while undertaking your duties/ tasks.
- Cooperating with the Company to enable it comply with the relevant regulatory provisions and standards.
- Using, in the correct manner, all protective equipment and procedures provided by the company.
- Reporting to the company, without delay, any defects in procedures or equipment that they are aware of that might compromise safety.
- Taking all reasonable and practical measures, this may include the submission of safety reports, to prevent injury or fatality to themselves or other persons and damage to or loss of aircraft.
- Responsible for safety as referenced in the Safety Management Manual [SMM] Doc ref. PW/CM/002.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by your supervisor.
Skill :
- Demonstrated ability during the course of attachments.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

Qualification Required:
- Graduate from a recognized University in Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
- Experience :

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (4 Position(s))

Job Purpose
To carry out assigned repair and replacement tasks on aircraft and aircraft systems in accordance with TCAA regulations and company procedures at optimized cost for the business while upholding high safety standards to maintain schedule integrity.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine and non-routine maintenance tasks and perform service bulletins for safe and timely release of aircraft within planned downtime for continued airworthiness.
- Carry out repair, replacement, overhaul, modification and testing of aircraft components and aircraft tools for optimal turnaround time to ensure continuous availability of serviceable component.
- Carry out maintenance tasks on cabin utilities and IFE systems for utmost Customer satisfaction and comfort.
- Identify and requisition required parts.
- Report incident / accident occurrences as per company procedures.
- Accurately record and sign all maintenance tasks carried out to ensure Aircraft history is correct and up to date.
- Check and evaluate materials, tools, and equipment required for assigned Tasks while maintaining high safety standards to personnel and equipment.
- Adhere to the company safety, health and environmental policy.
- Co-ordinate aircraft towing to and from hangars by communicating with the tower / apron control and operating the necessary aircraft systems for safe and timely movement of the aircraft.
- Carry out security checks as per the Maintenance Procedures Manual.
- Coach internship students for increased proficiency.
- Work towards acquiring basic licenses.
- Responsible as reference to Safety Management Manual ((SMM) Doc ref. PW/CM/002 Chapter 1.6.2-1.6.3
- Any other duty as assigned by supervisor.
Skill :
Experience
