Position – Lifting Foreman (Local) (7 Posts)

Qualifications: –
Education:

• Diploma or vocational training in mechanical, construction, or related fields.
• Must have valid certificates in Lifting Supervision, Rigging & Slinging, Crane Safety, and optionally First Aid and Occupational Safety.

Experience:

• 3-5 years in lifting/rigging operations. Experience in construction, oil & gas, mining, or heavy industry is an advantage.

Skills: 

• Knowledge of lifting procedures, leadership, risk assessment, good communication (including hand signals and radio), and problem-solving.

Overview
We are currently seeking two experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as HSE Supervisors for the EACOP-DOCG Project in Chongoleani, Tanga. This role is a vital part of our team in the construction, oil, and gas industry.

Position: HSE Supervisor (2 Posts)
Location: EACOP-DOCG Project, Chongoleani, Tanga
Job Type: Full-time
Industry: Construction, Oil and Gas
Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations on-site.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for all site personnel.
• Maintain accurate HSE reports and lead incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Drive a proactive safety culture and promote continuous improvement in all HSE practices.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Diploma is mandatory.
• A minimum of 5 years of continuous experience in the construction industry.
• Sound knowledge of Tanzanian HSE laws and international safety standards.
• Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills.

Duration

• The Contract shall be for a specific task for the whole constructions period of the project.

• Full time employment

Place of Work & Residency
The place of work for this position shall be Chongoleani ward in Tanga city, Daqing Oilfield Constructions Group Company Limited (DOCG) will provide food and camp accommodations in our temporary facilities for these positions. It is mandatory for individual selected for this position to utilize the camp accommodations.
