Reports to: Technical Manager
Position Type: Staff Position
Job Type: Full-time
Job Location: Arusha, Tanzania
Objective of the Role:
To ensure effective management of all environmental activities, including gardening, landscaping, waste management, and compliance with safety regulations. The position aims to maintain a sustainable, clean, and safe environment while leading a team to deliver high-quality results efficiently and on time.

Objective of the Role:
To ensure effective management of all environmental activities, including gardening, landscaping, waste management, and compliance with safety regulations. Main responsibilities:
- Oversee gardening, landscaping, and general environmental maintenance in the farm.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor waste management practices, including proper garbage disposal.
- Lead and supervise a large team, ensuring productivity and efficiency.
- Plan, organize, and execute environmental projects within deadlines.
- Identify innovative and sustainable approaches to improve the environment and workplace.
- Serve as a strong communication link between management and the team.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of a Diploma in Environmental Science or a related field (a degree is not required).
- Proven experience in environmental management, landscaping, gardening, or a related area.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage large teams.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to think creatively and propose out-of-the-box solutions.
- Fluent in English and Swahili with excellent communication and reporting skills.
