Position: IT Officer
Job Type: Full-time 
IT Officer at Bakhresa & Co. Ltd – Transport Division August 2025.
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Entities Supported: Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd – Transport Division
Open to: Tanzanian nationals only.
Are you a proactive IT professional with a strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in IT support and the drive to improve infrastructure and systems performance?
We are looking for an experienced IT Officer to join our dynamic team at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd – Transport Division.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain & troubleshoot hardware, software, and networks.
• Provide user support and resolve IT related issues.
• Ensure system security, backups, and compliance with IT policies.
• Manage network infrastructure and VPNs.
• Support SAP and fuelling systems.
• Document IT processes and support internal projects.
• Collaborate with departments to support business needs.

What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT support, preferably in logistics
• Proficiency in network administration, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SAP, fuelling systems, and IT security best practices.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, MCITP) are a plus.
