Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Management:
- Generating and distributing customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Ensuring invoices are compliant with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Maintaining organized and up-to-date invoice records.
- 100% System Application when generating Invoices
- Processing customer payments received through various methods.
- Allocating payments to the correct customer accounts and perform Internal reconciliations.
- Reconciling payments with invoices and bank statements.
- Closely and timely monitoring customer accounts for overdue payments and other discrepancies.
- Daily Following up with customers on outstanding balances through various communication channels (phone, emails, etc.).
- Timely Investigating and resolving any payment-related issues or discrepancies with Clients.
- Preparing regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, and other relevant metrics.
- Weekly Receivables Aging presentation during Finance Saturday’s meeting providing status of all Invoices and collections made.
- Analyzing accounts receivable trends and identifying potential risks or areas for improvement.
- Providing input and recommendations to management on accounts receivable management strategies.
- Daily collections report preparation and circulation to Financial Controller copying Finance Manager. This should show all advance payments form Customers and breakdown of Invoices for all payments received against outstanding balances.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.
- Participating in audits and providing necessary information to auditors.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
- Timely responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers for prompt redemption of their debts with the company.
- Assisting with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting department.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field.
- Proven experience of (2-5 years) in accounts receivable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. SAP Business One is more preferable.
- CPA-Qualification or Final Level is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with local tax regulations and compliance requirements is also an advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the driver team, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
- Develop driver schedules and routes to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Monitor driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company policies, road safety, and traffic regulations.
- Conduct regular vehicle and driver audits to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance.
- Coordinate training programs for drivers on defensive driving, customer service, and company standards.
- Manage incident reporting, accidents, and disciplinary issues within the driver team.
- Maintain accurate records of driver logs, fuel usage, and mileage reports.
- Ensure effective communication between management and drivers to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the Operations and HR departments in driver recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals.
- Ensure compliance with Tanzanian transport and logistics regulations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in fleet/driver supervision or transport management within a logistics company.
- At least 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian traffic laws, logistics, and fleet management practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and solve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software is an added advantage.
- Valid driver’s license (Class E or higher preferred).
Requirements
- Bachelor is degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in a similar role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry, with specific experience in container freight station operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in team management and development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in using logistics management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
