Job Type: Full-time
Position Overview
The Head of QC and QA at Advent Construction is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems across all construction projects. This role ensures that materials, workmanship, and processes align with regulatory standards, client expectations, and Advent’s internal benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance (QA)
• Develop and enforce QA policies and procedures in line with ISO 9001 and local building codes
• Lead internal audits and ensure readiness for external inspections
• Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and legal standards
• Collaborate with project managers to integrate QA into project planning and execution
• Oversee document control and ensure traceability of QA records
• Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for non-conformities
Quality Control (QC)
• Supervise site inspections for materials, workmanship, and construction activities
• Approve inspection and test plans (ITPs) and ensure their execution
• Validate material certifications and conduct third-party testing when required
• Review and sign off on quality reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and punch lists
• Coordinate with consultants and clients on QC matters and approvals

- 10+ years in QA/QC roles, with 5+ years in a senior leadership position
- Certifications ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, PMP, or equivalent preferred
- QMS, ITPs, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Risk Management
- Leadership, Communication, Problem-solving, Strategic Thinking
