Invitation for Tenders: Proposed Construction of HIMSO Learning Hub
HIMSO has received a grant from Bread for the World (BftW) towards the
cost of the Proposed Construction of HIMSO Learning Hub. The
organization intends to apply part of the proceeds of this grant to

Tender OverviewEligibility and Tendering Process
HIMSO invites tenders from contractors who are registered or capable of being registered in Contractor Classes 5 to 7 for the design and construction of the HIMSO Learning Hub. Tendering will be conducted through the National Shopping procurement method, as specified in the Public Procurement Regulations, Government Notice No. 518 of 2024. This opportunity is open to all tenderers as defined in the regulations.
Access to Tendering Documents
Interested eligible tenderers can obtain further information and inspect the tendering documents on HIMSO’s websites and social network platforms. A complete set of tendering documents in English is available for download through these platforms.
Submission Requirements
- All tenders must be properly filled in and submitted via email to info@himso.or.tz by 11:00 AM on November 04th, 2025.
- Tenders not received at the specified email address before the deadline will not be accepted for evaluation, regardless of the circumstances.
- Tenders will be opened promptly after the submission deadline in the presence of tenderers’ representatives who choose to attend.
Performance Security
The selected contractor will be required to furnish a Performance
Security equal to ten percent (10%) of the Contract Sum. The security
must be in the form of a Bank Guarantee or a Bond from a reputable local
surety (Bank, Guarantee Society, or Insurance Company) acceptable to
the Employer. The contractor shall also bear the cost of necessary stamp
duties.
