Job Summary
We are hiring on behalf of our client an experienced and results-driven Sales Professional to join and lead the Hardware and Tiles Division. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day sales operations, develop and implement effective strategies to expand market presence, manage key accounts, and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and distributors.
This role requires a solid understanding of building materials, hardware, and tile products, combined with proven sales and leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive sales growth and achieve targets across hardware and tile product lines.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and brand visibility.
• Manage key client relationships and ensure excellent customer service.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management review.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in sales, preferably within the hardware, tiles, or building materials industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Excellent knowledge of local markets (Mwanza, Dar es Salaam, and Arusha).
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve measurable results.
